It was discovered in 1905 by José Bullón Lobato. Declared a national monument in 1924.
In this cave is one of the best collections of prehistoric art in all of Andalusia. In it, the different prehistoric groups developed an intense graphic activity.
Not all the cave can be visited, for safety and conservation reasons, but you can contemplate the entire central part of more than 500 meters, with more than three thousand years of rock art on its walls, which is already more than enough to understand the importance of this site.
