Moctezuma Palace

Current Museum of the Ronda painter “Joaquín Peinado”, which houses a very important collection of paintings by this excellent artist, owned by the Unicaja-Ronda Foundation. There is also the Elementary Conservatory of Music.

It has a stone lintel façade, with a shield on the lintel of the Moctezuma family, heirs of the last Aztec Emperor Moctezuma II. It has an attached church from the 19th century in an ectic style, with neo-Gothic elements, with a single nave, with a Tudor arch supporting the tribune.

Outside there is a brick steeple, with pointed arches and pinnacles. It has an interesting Mudejar style in the main hall.
